Sembcorp and VSSES Turned A New Page on Cooperation in Sustainable Development

As Sembcorp’s partner, VSSES seeks to deliver economic and environmental benefits to customers through the provision of rooftop solar solutions.

These warehouses are developed in line with Lotus standards whereby environmentally friendly features are seriously taken into consideration. Therefore, green energy offered by VSSES will play a great part in Sembcorp’s vision of becoming modern and green warehouses. 

On top of that, rooftop solar is regarded as an economical solution for Sembcorp to get rid of heavy electric bills each month. By signing a PPA with VSSES, they will take off the toll of upfront investment or operation & maintenance-related work while enjoying a lower charge for the consumed energy.  

This strategic cooperation is driven by the shared mission of the two parties as well, which is making concerted progress on the development of the national industrial sector.

Through rooftop solar, VSSES is also contributing actively to the sustainable development of industrial businesses. 

We have successfully carried out rooftop solar projects for well-known enterprises such as Alliance Print Technologies, part of New Toyo corporation (a leading manufacturer in packaging in Pacific – Asia region), II-VI (semiconductor component-focused manufacturer). 

This year, our company has rolled out large-scale rooftop solar projects that expect to contribute significantly to Vietnam’s transition to a low-carbon future. Particularly, in October 2022, VSSES signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Regina Miracle International Vietnam to develop a rooftop solar project with a total installed capacity of 8.6 MWp. The adoption of rooftop solar will help Regina Miracle cut down on CO2 emissions by 11,000 tonnes annually, which will empower Regina Miracle to conquer another milestone in its sustainable journey.
